We (Brenn, Steve, Joe) debated the new qualifying standards for the NYC Marathon, beginning with the 2013 edition. Alas, we did not come up with a solution that would please all of the people all of the time.

A bit of a chat about the Rock ‘n’ Roll 10K held in Prospect Park on October 22. In this first venture into New York, there seem to have been some problems. The biggest perhaps the space limits of Prospect Park where the race was held; inevitably there will be lapped runners.

Finally, the Dash to the Finish 5K. Joe lamented the loss of the low-key International Breakfast Run. But it is what it is.
